Neil hails from Australia where he graduated from Cumberland College of Health Science, Sydney University in 1993. His love of snow and -20C temperatures enticed his move to Owen Sound in 1994 (perhaps his lovely Candian wife Nancy had some pull). He has been a staff Physiotherapist at Grey Bruce Health Services ever since.

Neil is experienced and skilled at acupuncture, training in 2004 and now travelling across Canada teaching for Acupuncture Canada. He is an enthusiastic adherent to the benefits of Neuro-Proprioceptive taping (kinesio-taping), and an unabashed champion of magnesium supplementation as an adjunct treatment in physiotherapy. A lifelong student, Neil will be pursuing cranio-sacral training in 2018. Neil is the secretary of the Grey-Bruce OPA and a member of the Ontario and Canadian Physiotherapy Associations.

Neil is interested in his patients as a whole, how their activities, work and lifestyle impinge on their health, and how best to help them. Education and empowerment with tools, suggestions and exercises is a big part encouraging his clients well being.

Neil is an avid soccer player with the Owen Sound Old-Timers and Rec League, he loves to cook and read. He has two great kids WIlliam and Bronwyn, and a wonderful supportive wife Nancy.

Neil is currently working part time at Grey Bruce Health Services, and part time at his private practice Soma Physiotherapy which is now part of Health Squad.
